High School & MSU Graduation

Summer fun with graduations and family gatherings.

High School & MSU Graduation

Some of our fondest family memories are celebrating high school graduations.  It is wonderful when out-of-town family members come to honor a graduate at a party that no one wants to miss.

The best thing you can do for your family and friends who are coming to celebrate is to reserve a room for them that is budget-friendly, quiet, comfortable, convenient, and in a country setting--and that is the Williamston Inn.  For the graduation open houses of Williamston, Haslett, Okemos, and East Lansing High Schools, out-of-town guests will appreciate the individually decorated rooms, newly remodeled in 2019.

Travelers don’t want to fight traffic or get lost, so they will want a short drive to that special open house celebration. Parents have a lot of planning to do for the graduation party, but really, who has room for the relatives in their own house?  To illustrate this, one mother of a graduate stayed at the Williamston Inn herself, because she said that relatives came and took over her house! No need for that to happen, because a good place to relax, have privacy, and to sleep is to reserve a room at the Inn.  Family travelers have chosen this motel for repeated visits because they like the well-kept grounds, picnic area, and beautiful gazebo. The common hotel chains simply do not have the spacious grounds or the quaint, unique, redecorated rooms. Antique-themed rooms are also available.

There are good reasons to stay in Williamston.  It is a small town which offers a lot to enjoy, including 19 restaurants, an old-fashioned affordable movie theatre, two large antique malls, and several specialty shops. And for theatre lovers who like contemporary plays, the Williamston Theatre is an amazing success.

MSU graduation is a special time, and you want the best for your families coming in from out-of-town.

It is also very busy in East Lansing with the crowds of visitors and the additional traffic. There is a way to enjoy the weekend, and that is to reserve a room for your loved ones at the Williamston Inn. It is a short drive down Grand River Road to the east, and then you are in the country…away from the traffic and crowds.
